£3 ENTRY IN CHARITY BUCKET
On the 13th July 1985 72,000 people attended Live Aid at Wembly Stadium to help fund the relief of the Ethiopian famine crisis. It was one of the largest-scale television broadcasts of all time: an estimated 2 billion viewers, across 60 countries. This event helped 150 million pound for the on going cause and gave many people a night to remember.
Now with the dreadful , Almost Unreal sights of the Japanese Quake/Tsunami fresh in ouir minds, We would like to do something similar ourselves.
" LIVEroom AID" plans to bring Live Music (cause thats what we do best) together with that warm feeling that you get from giving to a good cause.
Now , We dont have Wembly Stadium ..Im guessing 72,000 people will not fit in the Live room so 150 million pounds is gonna be tough to tip. But we are gonna definately going to give it our best shot!
Please people lets all get together for a good thing , donate and have a great night in the mean time. All money taken on the door an will be Donated to The Japanese Red Cross. Along with any other donations taken through the course of the night :)
