By simply being themselves and not trying to act out a manufactured imageor fit a specific nicheIsaac’s Aircraft have built a strongrelationship with a broad fanbase, leading to support slots in the UK and Europewith acts as diverse as The Zutons, Amy Winehouse and The Like, andbringing airplay not just on indie and mainstream stations but also specialistoutlets such as Kerrang. In the studio they’ve sought to work withpeople who bring something different to the table, whether it’s unfettered indieproducers such as Paul Tipler (Stereolab, Idlewild, The Pipettes, Elastica)andGavin Monaghan (The Editors, The Twang, Broadcast) or the multipleGrammy-nominated classical expertise of Adrian Carr.

Isaac’s Aircraft are a band from Cambridge that enjoys confounding expectations, bothmusically and personally. In many ways the mix of individuals and influencesthat make up the band shouldn’t work, but that’s exactly where they draw theirstrength and inspiration, having already racked up a top 30 indie single and atop 10 US internet college radio hit. ‘Pigeonholes are fine if you’re a pigeon’muses keyboard player Martin, ‘though I suspect that even some pigeons mightyearn for more!’

PATRICK PLUNKETT

ACOUSTIC
"London is certainly not short of serious singer-songwriter types, so it's as well that Plunkett is pretty close to the top of the game." Sam Inglis, Sound on Sound

...here is a pleasure you can enjoy without repercussion, no hangover cure needed I guess you could say. But that’s assuming the crowd aren’t booze hounds, even if they were Patrick Plunkett have the kind of sound that could soothe them easily. The blood that runs white hot is cooled to a pleasing temperature, a temperature that still manages to excite in a way that insights peace and love..."

"His music evokes memories of some of the great male singer/songwriters of the past 10 years, people like Damien Rice, Glen Hansard and some of the more mainstream successes like Paulo Nutini, Jason Mraz and Jack Johnson, only with a harder rockier/americana edge. It was a true pleasure to see him play an acoustic set and I'm sure he'll be a rising star on the London music scene..."
